Earlier this week Sean Silveira, the #1 wakesurfer on the PWT, took another big overall win in the wakesurfing world with a first place overall finish at this year’s World Wakesurfing Championships (WWSC). The 2018 WWSC showcased the world’s best surfing from riders like Sean Silveira, Keenan Flegel, John Akerman, Jake Caster, and Cole Sorenson.
After 11 events spanning all accross North America, Silveira took the overall crown at this year’s WWSC with a point total of 438.75 closely followed by #2 Jake Caster with 42.50, #3 Keenan Flegel with 425, #4 John Akerman with 405.00, and #5 Cole Sorenson with 371.25 overall points.

Out of the 11 stops on the 2018 WWSC, Silveira took a podium spot at 9 of them. Of the 9 podium spots, Silveira took 1st place five times, 2nd place three times, and 3rd place once.
