Sean Silveira Takes The Win At The First Stop of The Pro Wakesurf Tour in Katy, TX

The first stop of the 2019 Supra Boats Pro Wakesurf Tour is in the books with a huge win for Sean Silveira! This year, the Pro Wakesurf tour kicked off in Katy, TX and some of the best wakesurfers in the world came out to chase the largest purse in wake sports.

Though his semi-final run was not his “best riding” Silveira stayed positive, kept riding and put on a finals performance that ended up landing him at the top of the first podium for the 2019 Pro Wakesurf Tour.

“Coming into this event, I was trying to stay clear-minded and not think about that pressure, but it was getting to me a little bit in the semis,” said Silveira. “I kind of messed up and it wasn’t the best riding that I could do. And I knew I had to come back strong in the finals. I made that happen, and I’m super stoked about that.”

When all was said and done, Silveira managed to put together an inspired finals run and land himself at the top of the 2019 Prowakesurf Tour.
